Finance for Project Managers
Introduction
One of the main attributes for modern Project Managers is the ability to manage and control the financial elements of their projects. This one-day course will provide delegates with the elements required to, understand, control and report on the financial aspects of their projects. It will cover the financial aspects to be included in the setting up of the Project, how these are monitored via the Business Case and Project Plan and then reported on. It will utilise aspects of both Prince2 and APM and can therefore be a useful step on the road to formal qualification.
Who will benefit from this course
The course is aimed at delegates who are either working as project managers, working in a project team, or accounts personnel who provide financial support to the project. It is also ideal for Managers and project Team members who need to understand the financial aspects of a project and the effect this can have on the business. As it follows the approach of both Prince2 and APM it will underpin the learning for delegates following those courses.
