Sage Accounts

Introductory, Advanced, Report Writing and Stock Control courses are available.

The introductory one-day course is aimed at Business Owners, Accounts Personnel and Bookkeepers who wish to manage their accounts using Sage.  Upon completion of this course, you will be equipped with knowledge and tools that enable you to:

  • Set-up Sage for your own business needs
  • Record Sales and Purchase invoices on Customer and Supplier records
  • Reconcile your bank statement
  • Produce management reports

The advanced one-day course explores further features of Sage enabling you to expand your basic knowledge.   You will learn time-saving tools such as:

  • Automation of postings for Direct Debits and Standing Orders
  • Accounting functions such as Prepayments, Accruals and Depreciation
  • Producing and reconciling VAT Returns
  • Month End and Year End routines

Report Writing incorporates groups and totals, filters and criteria and Stock Control covers bills of materials, purchase orders and stock movements.

Sage Payroll

The introductory course teaches the setup and operation of Sage Payroll, from basic payments to using holiday and absence diary functions. It also covers data security techniques and online filing. The more advanced course is designed to help you make the most of your payroll data, creating reports and linking payroll to your computerised accounts.
