PC Awareness

This course is designed for users new to computers or Windows. It provides delegates with an understanding of a PC's capabilities, how to run programmes and understand the file structure. 

Microsoft Word

Basic, Experienced and Advanced training courses cover topics such as using keyboard and mouse shortcuts for completion of basic tasks, creating newsletter style documents that incorporate graphics and columns, automating routine tasks, creating on-line forms, templates and reports.

Microsoft Excel

New, Experienced and Advanced user programmes include creating professional spreadsheets and adding formatting, entering formulae for mathematical calculations, linking data and charts from Excel with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, using pivot tables to group and count data and automating routine tasks.

Microsoft Access

Introduction and Experienced courses cover topics such as creating and editing database tables and reports, importing data into Access and creating sub forms and switchboards.

Microsoft Powerpoint

New and experienced user training courses cover creating, editing and running professional presentations, using transition effects, applying design templates, adding drawing shapes and text boxes and animating objects and charts.

Microsoft Outlook

Basic and Experienced levels cover topics such as sending and receiving email and attachments, setting up a contacts list, organising a calendar and task list, using advanced e-mail features to format and manage messages, using Outlook with the Internet and integrating Outlook with other Office applications.
