Excel is a very versatile program which can be used for a variety of purposes, such as holding simple lists of data through to complex data analysis utilising functions and pivot tables.
Our training courses help the user to create professional spreadsheets by entering formulae for calculations; creating graphs to track performance; filtering information for analysis; using pivot tables to group and count data; and using macros to automate routine tasks.
COURSE AIMS |
This one-day instructor led course will provide those who have limited or no knowledge of Excel with a thorough understanding of how to use Excel effectively. This course will help you develop the skills to present data professionally both on-screen and when printed; build your confidence in using formulas and built-in functions as well as exploring shortcuts for data entry and manipulation.
Each section of the course will provide an opportunity to explore the new subject area, followed by an exercise to reinforce learning.

This course is designed to further your Excel knowledge by exploring more advanced commands/functions and shows you how to apply these to your own business challenges. It expores some of the more advanced functionality within Excel and shows how to apply these in real situations particularly when handling large tables and data spread across multiple spreadsheets.
This one-day instructor led course is a combination of group exercise and hands-on practice. Each section of the course provides an opportunity to explore new subject areas and is followed by an exercise or activity to reinforce learning.

COURSE AIMS |
This course provides you with the knowledge of how to use Excel as a tool for forecasting and advanced data manipulation. Covering the more complex functions and showing how to nest functions allowing compound calculations and the functionality of analysing multiple conditions within a single formula.
It will enable you to enhance your skills by exploring some of Excel’s analysis, planning and development features in particular "What-if" functions and will also cover the creation and use of Pivot Tables and will show how routine tasks can be automated by the use of simple Macro's attached to an action button.
