CBH Training offer a range of financial courses aimed at de-mistifying the accounting process and providing practical training in key subjects.

The aim of all the courses is to give the attendees a full understanding of not just the content but also how to apply it in their environment. This, plus the free support line, allows the attendees to tackle the use of the subject matter in a confident manner.

The courses range from a thorough understanding of the structure and derivation of Accounts Reports to practical skills such as using Excel or Sage 50 to manage your Accounts.

This one-day course provides staff who work within an Accounts role with the understanding of accounting principles and explains where the financial figures come from to make up management reports. Upon completion of this course, you will be equipped with knowledge and tools that enable you to:
  • Understand the structure and importance of Bookkeeping and Ledgers
  • Understand Cash Flow, Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets
  • Interpret and prepare Management Reports

Accounting using Excel PDF Print E-mail

This one-day instructor led course will provide you with the necessary skills to use Excel for managing your business accounts.   Upon completion of this course, you will be equipped with knowledge and tools that enable you to:

  • Use Spreadsheets to record your Sales and Purchase invoices
  • Understand the basic financial reports necessary to manage your business
  • Know your financial status and have management information available at the touch of a button

 All attendees will leave the course with a copy of the Excel spreadsheets ready to use.

 
Finance for non-financial Managers PDF Print E-mail

This one-day course has been designed for all persons involved with developing budgets and who need to understand the financial data used within an organisation and its use for decision making.  It will look at the tools and processes you need to build, present and work with your budget, understand a Profit and Loss Statement, Cash Flow and a Balance Sheet.  The course will also explain where the financial figures come from to make up these reports.

Upon completion you will be equipped with knowledge and tools that enable you to:

  • Prepare, manage and understand budgeting
  • Be proficient at understanding and creating a profit and loss statement
  • Be proficient at interpreting and creating balance sheets
Each section of the course will provide an opportunity to explore the new subject area, followed by an exercise to reinforce learning.
