| Setting Calendars in Microsoft Project 2007 |

The Calendars for Microsoft Project 2007 are set in a quite different manner to previous releases. The main set-up needs to be carried out via the Project Guide.
To activate the Project Guide:1. Open the Tools menu and choose Options 2. Click the "Interface" tab
3. Within the Interface screen
ensure the "Display Project Guide" box is checked 4. Click OK to apply.
To set the Calendar:1. Open the View menu, choose Toolbars, Project Guide - a new toolbar is added at the top of the screen 2. Click the Tasks button on the project guide toolbar, the Project Guide will appear on the left of the screen 3. Select "Define General Working Times" from the list of options 4. This will open a 5-step wizard that you can follow to set up your calendars.
